NA 122 Lahore: Returning officer called for rejection of founding PTI papers
The Appellate Tribunal summoned the Returning Officer yesterday for rejecting the papers of the founder Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) from National Assembly Constituency NA 122 Lahore.
A hearing was held on the appeal against the rejection of the nomination papers of founder PTI from NA 122 Lahore. Justice Tariq Nadeem heard the appeal of founder PTI.
The Appellate Tribunal issued notice to the Returning Officer to appear tomorrow on the appeal.
The appellant contends that the RO rejected the nomination papers illegally, the Appellate Tribunal set aside the decision of the RO and allowed him to participate in the election.
PTI to announce Tickets of candidates on Monday
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Barrister Gohar Khan has said that the process of consultation for the issuance of PTI tickets has been completed.
In the conversation after meeting with founder PTI in Adiala Jail, Barrister Gohar said that there has been a consultation with founder PTI on the distribution of tickets, the tickets of PTI candidates will be announced by Monday.
