PML-N leadership facing difficulty in ticket distribution
The PML-N leadership is still in a quandary over who to keep and who to leave.
Elections 2024 are going to held but the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has not been able to take any decision on ticket allocation and seat adjustment.
A week has passed since the meeting of the PML-N’s parliamentary board. But the party leadership is facing difficulty in deciding the tickets distribution. The PML-N leadership is still in a quandary over who to keep and who to leave.
According to the sources, internal differences of PML-N are emerging in some circles. Leaders of the PML-N have resisted the seat adjustment from the Istehkam e Pakistan Party (IPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League Q. Local leaders are also angry over the decision to give PML-N tickets to defecting PTI members.
Abdul Rehman Kanju of PML-N is angry over seat adjustment from Jahangir Tareen in Lodhran. Abdul Rahman Kanjo says that if the seat adjustment is made, he will be forced to contest independent elections on 2 seats, not giving ticket to Siddiq Baloch on NA 155 will be a blunder.
According to Jang news, it has been decided to give tickets to the defiant members of PTI in the PML-N parliamentary party meeting.
Syed Mubeen Ahmed from Rahimyar Khan, Samiul Hasan Gilani from Bahawalpur, Aamir Gopang from Muzaffargarh, Qasim Noon from Multan and Ahmad Hussain Dehar will be given tickets.
Tickets will be given to Riaz Mazari from DG Khan and Abdul Ghaffar Vatto from Wahari. In NA-96, Talal Chaudhry will be replaced by Nawab Sher Wasir and Raja Riaz from Faisalabad.
In Okara, Jugnu Mohsin has refused to apply for the reserved seat for women. Jugnu Mohsin says that he was asked to submit the application on the special seat but she refused. Jugnu Mohsin has fielded independent candidate Rai Mushtaq from her constituency PP 186.
Rao Jameel, the expected candidate of PML-N from NA-137 Okara, has nominated his son from the provincial constituency. PML-N cannot ignore former MPA Ali Abbas Khokhar on this seat.
In NA 143 Chichawatani, distt. Sahiwal, Malik Nauman Langriyal has demanded seat adjustment from Pakistan Muslim League-N. But in this constituency, PML-N is facing resistance from its candidate, former MNA Chaudhry Tufail Jutt.
PML-N is also facing resistance in seat adjustment from Q-League in Gujarat.
