Control Room Set up at DC Office Sahiwal for Elections 2024

Commissioner Sahiwal Division Shoaib Iqbal Syed visited the control room set up in the DC office to review the arrangements for the general elections 2024.

Monitoring arrangements of all polling stations across the district were reviewed. Commissioner Sahiwal said that strict security arrangements should be made at sensitive polling stations so that law and order situation can be maintained.

According to the details, Commissioner Sahiwal Division Shoaib Iqbal Syed visited the control room set up in the DC office to review the arrangements for the general elections 2024.

Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal Ikram ul Haq, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Syed Usman Munir Bukhari, Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Ashfaq Ahmed and SNA Khurram Saleem were also present on the occasion.

Commissioner Shoaib Iqbal Syed said that monitoring of all sensitive polling stations with the help of CCTV cameras should be implemented to ensure transparent and impartial elections.

Later, he visited Government Comprehensive School and other schools in nearby villages of the city and reviewed the arrangements of polling stations.

He directed that proper arrangements should be made for the convenience of voters at all the polling stations.
