Special Court sentenced Imran Khan 10 years imprisonment

The founder of PTI and Shah Mahmood Qureshi were present in the court room when the verdict was delivered.

A special court in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail has sentenced PTI founder Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment in the cipher case.

Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain of the special court established under the Official Secrets Act delivered a brief verdict orally.

PTI to Challenge Cipher Case Verdict in Islamabad High Court

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ali Zafar says that he will challenge the verdict in the cipher case in the Islamabad High Court.

Ali Zafar while talking to Tv Channel ‘Geo News’ has said that under no circumstances can it be called a trial, far from fulfilling the requirements of justice, justice has been blown away.

He said that the case continued till 12 o’clock last night and the lawyers were not allowed to enter the court room.

On the other hand, Chairman PTI Barrister Gauhar Khan appealed to the workers to remain calm and not take the law into their hands, saying that we have faith in the Supreme Court and the High Court.

He said that an attempt is being made to divert our attention from the election, but everyone will be held accountable on February 8.
