The government of Punjab has transferred Superintendent Adiala Jail Asad Javed Warraich to Central Jail Sahiwal on Saturday.
Abdul Ghafoor Anjum has been appointed new superintendent of Adiala Jail, replacing Asad Javed Warraich.
Abdul Ghafoor Anjum has served as Faisalabad Jail Superintendent. In this regard, a notification of appointment and placement has been issued by the government of Punjab.
It is important to know that important cases of PTI founder Imran Khan are also being heard in Adiala Jail.
Sources say that Imran Khan can be shifted to Sahiwal Jail which has not been secure for the prisoners in the past.
Big activities are being observed in the Central Jail Sahiwal which may be because of new superintendent or Imran Khan expected arrival.
If Imran Khan is shifted to Sahiwal prison, his life might be in danger.
