Addressing a press conference, DG ISPR Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that the Azm e Istehkam operation is a coordinated campaign against terrorism. The revised National Action Plan for 2021 was reviewed in the Apex Committee meeting.

On the other hand, Islamabad Police has raided the PTI Central Secretariat with a heavy force and arrested PTI leaders Barrister Gohar Ali Khan and Raoof Hasan.

At present, the detailed reasons for the arrest could not be revealed. According to PTI sources, the police have also seized computers and equipment from the PTI Central Secretariat.

PTI leader Shibli Faraz has confirmed that Barrister Gohar Ali Khan and Raoof Hassan have been arrested by the police.

According to the police, Barrister Gohar and four women were not arrested and the police did not take away the laptop and documents from the PTI Secretariat.
