Simarjeet Singh has shared a video on the photo sharing app Instagram in which he praised the Pakistani drama industry and said that he was watching a Pakistani serial which had a very simple story and excellent acting.
”Indian dramas, if a girl is falling down the stairs, she continues to fall for a week, accompanied by music and close-up shots of everyone in the scene, doing nothing but a 22-minute drama”.
He said that if the political differences of Pakistan and India are kept aside and seen from the point of view of cinema and art, Pakistani drama industry is worthy of praise.
Samarjeet Singh said that he has given auditions for serials many times and he was asked to overact because it is a TV serial.
He said that our TV industry needs to change itself and if it has to learn something from Pakistanis, there is nothing wrong in that.
