Lieutenant General Mohammad Asim Malik appointed DGISI
Lt Gen Asim is a graduate of Fort Leavenworth and Royal College of Defense Studies.
Lieutenant General Asim Malik will assume his new charge on September 30, he is currently serving as Adjutant General at GHQ.
Lt Gen Asim has previously commanded an infantry division in Balochistan and an infantry brigade in Waziristan, he has also received the Sword of Honor in his course.
Apart from this, he has also been posted as Chief Instructor NDU and Instructor Command and Staff College Quetta.
Lt Gen Asim is a graduate of Fort Leavenworth and Royal College of Defense Studies.
Sources say that Lieutenant General Asim Malik belongs to a military family, his father Ghulam Muhammad was also posted as Lieutenant General, his father was also posted as Corps Commander Rawalpindi.
Sources have said that Lt Gen Asim Malik’s father is known as General GM.
