Fardeen Khan explains the reason for his 14-year hiatus from the film industry

He said, "I never intended to take such a long break; it all happened unintentionally."

Bollywood actor Fardeen Khan has made his return to the film industry after a 14-year absence, and he has also shared the reasons for his long break from the industry.

According to Indian media, Fardeen Khan is the son of famous actor and director Feroz Khan. He made his comeback to the film world after 14 years through Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s series Heeramandi.

In a recent interview, Fardeen Khan spoke about the reasons for his long break from showbiz and the challenges he faced after his return.

He said, “I never intended to take such a long break; it all happened unintentionally.”

The actor added, “When I look back, everything that happened turned out for the best, because I have two beautiful children, with whom I have a strong bond.

If I hadn’t taken this break, perhaps this relationship wouldn’t have been possible.”

After Heeramandi, Fardeen worked in the comedy film Khel Khel Mein, which featured several famous actors, including Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, and Vaani Kapoor.

Talking about the challenges faced after his return to the film industry, Fardeen Khan said, “I am still trying to understand the new era of the film industry.”

He mentioned, “The landscape is completely different now.

The audience has changed. Some people are familiar with my old films like Hey Baby, No Entry, and All The Best, but the new generation may not know them.”

Media reports indicate that Fardeen Khan will star in Housefull 5, directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

The film also stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, , Shreyas Talpade Johnny Lever, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Sonam Bajwa.

The film will be released in June 2025.
