PML-N Prioritizes Development Over Division, Says PM

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Tariq Fatemi, was also present during the meeting.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said that his party, PML-N, did not engage in the politics of division, but instead sacrificed politics to prioritize development.

He added that there was a conspiracy to minus Nawaz Sharif from politics, but they emerged victorious.

The Prime Minister shared these thoughts during a statement on the founding day of Pakistan Muslim League (N), as well as in a key meeting regarding the New Gwadar International Airport.

Additionally, Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, Mohammad Sadiq Khan, met with the Prime Minister and briefed him about his recent visit to Kabul.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Tariq Fatemi, was also present during the meeting.

The Prime Minister also met with the polio eradication team and emphasized the importance of joint efforts to eliminate polio.

The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to China for constructing an airport equipped with international standards and modern facilities.

He also directed improvements in the road infrastructure connecting the New Gwadar International Airport with other areas of the country, particularly in Balochistan, and emphasized the need for foolproof security arrangements.

Regarding the road connectivity, the first part of the East Bay Expressway has been completed, and the feasibility for the second part is under preparation.

He emphasized that, following the vision of Pakistan’s founders, everyone must work together for the development and prosperity of the nation. Under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, the PML-N has been working for the development of Pakistan for over three and a half decades.

He concluded by saying that they endured hardships, including imprisonment, but never engaged in the politics of division or fragmentation of the people for the greater good of Pakistan.
