Meta-owned messaging platform WhatsApp is enhancing user experience by introducing a new widget feature for its Meta AI chatbot.
This upcoming update, aimed at iOS users, will offer a more convenient way to access and interact with Meta AI directly from the Home Screen.
According to WABetaInfo, the widget streamlines engagement with Meta AI as a result of removing the need to manually search for the chat within the app.
By tapping the widget, users can instantly open a conversation with Meta AI, making interactions faster and more efficient.
To maintain uniformity across platforms, WhatsApp therefore plans to introduce this widget for iOS, following its implementation on other devices.
The new feature will include three interactive buttons, each serving as a shortcut to a key chatbot function:
Instant Query Access – This shortcut enables users to quickly ask Meta AI a question, facilitating seamless and immediate interactions.
Photo Sharing – Users can directly send images to Meta AI with a single tap, enhancing multimedia engagement.
Voice Chat Mode – This option allows users to initiate a voice conversation with Meta AI, providing an alternative to text-based communication.
With these enhancements, WhatsApp continues to refine its integration of AI-driven tools, offering a more interactive and user-friendly experience for its global audience.
