Director General Agriculture visits Chichawatni city
He directed the landowners to spray standard agricultural poisons for effective control of whitefly.
Director General Agriculture Dr. Muhammad Anjum Ali Butar has visited Tehsil Chichawatni. He inspected the cotton crop of Abd al-Shakur Bhatti and other farmers in Chak No. 42/12 L of Tehsil Chichawatni.
Talking to the landowners on this occasion, Dr. Muhammad Anjum Ali Butar said that the guidance of the extension workers of the Department of Agriculture should be obtained for better care of the cotton crop and more production per acre.
He directed the landowners to spray standard agricultural poisons for effective control of whitefly. Later he visited the cotton ginning factory and checked the quality of the cotton.
Director Agriculture Extension Chaudhry Shahbaz Akhtar, Deputy Director Rana Maqsood Ahmed, Assistant Director Agriculture Extension Chichawatni Dr. Tahir Javed, Cotton Inspector Muhammad Irfan Shad and Agriculture Officer Plant Protection Dr. Awais Sadiq were also present on the occasion.
