Few words take on prince Archie’s Royal ties by Meghan Markle’s

Recently Duke and Duchess of Sussex's Netflix documentary, Harry & Meghan, reveals the inner dispute behind Prince Archie's upbringing.

Doria Ragland provides insight into these conflicts.

Doria Loyce Ragland is the American mother of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and the ex-wife of American retired television lighting director and director of photography Thomas Markle.

Ragland holds a degree in social work and is a former makeup artist and yoga instructor.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex is an American member of the British royal family. A businesswoman and former actress, she is married to Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, the younger son of King Charles III.

In defense of her daughter Markle’s decision to stand by her parental authority, Ragland said, “It’s almost like the institution is raising your child, not you. Meghan is expressing, “No, this is my baby.”

The 2022 documentary presents Ragland’s observations on the difficulties encountered during the previous five years, emphasizing Meghan’s battles to balance royal expectations with her fervent defense of her family’s independence.

Ragland remember, “We were on the call and she says to her Mummy she is going out with Prince Harry, and she started mumble and then she said Oh my God.”

Their early affair was shrouded in mystery and excitement, as Doria put it, saying that even from the start it was “very sort of, Oh my God, nobody can know.”

She was impressed by Harry’s “handsome” appearance, “really great manners,” and the obvious joy between them when they first met.

“Once it was announced that they were together, it seemed kind of like a novelty,” she said.
