Green Tractor Scheme started in Sahiwal Division

Sahiwal administration has started receiving applications under Green Tractor Scheme in Sahiwal Division.

Under the scheme, landowners of 1 to 50 acres can submit their applications till October 10. This was stated by Director Agriculture Chaudhry Shahbaz Akhtar while giving details.

He said that 795 green tractors will be distributed in Sahiwal division. He further informed that the landowners whose area is computerized will submit the applications online while the farmers with non-computerized area can submit their applications at the desk established in the office of the concerned Deputy Director of Agriculture Extension.

He informed that successful farmers will be eligible to get subsidy of Rs.10 lakh per tractor sanctioned by the government.
