Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Qaiser has contacted Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman by telephone.
Meanwhile, Asad Qaiser and Hafiz Naeem ur Rahman discussed the current political situation in the country and the movement to restore the constitution and law.
According to the communication between the leadership of PTI and Jamaat-e-Islami, Asad Qaiser and Hafiz Naeem expressed their determination to play an active role for the supremacy of the Constitution and the rule of law.
According to the statement, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman welcomed the decision of the Supreme Court of Pakistan regarding reserved seats.
He further said that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) should immediately resign after the decision of the Supreme Court.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami also said that the seats of National and Provincial Assemblies should be returned to the rightful ones on the basis of Form 45.
Asad Qaiser said that the historic decision of the Supreme Court will strengthen democracy in the country.
