Five unidentified armed robbers took one million rupees in cash and 25 tolas of gold jewelery from the house of former patron Press Club Chichawatni at gunpoint.

On receiving the information, ASP Tariq Mehmood reached the spot of the incident along with City Police. A large number of the journalist community reached Rana Latif’s house.
They say that robbers rule in the city. Bandits are patrolling and the police are busy enjoying the deep sleep. Chichawatani police arrived the spot late despite the timely call, which is a proof of the incompetence of the police.
