India: Tuition teacher raped 11-year-old girl for 3 months

An incident of alleged rape of an 11-year-old girl by a tutor has occurred in the Indian state of Maharashtra, after which the police has arrested the suspect.
According to the Hindustan Times, the police have arrested a 30-year-old teacher for allegedly raping a female student.
Police say that the accused used to teach children at his home, the accused raped the girl several times after the other students left and subjected her to unnatural sex.
The crime came to light when the girl complained of abdominal pain and the doctor realized that she had been sexually assaulted.
The girl told her parents that the teacher had been sexually abusing her for the past three months and had threatened her not to tell anyone. The police have registered a case and started investigating the incident.
