MDCAT test held in DPS and COMSATS University Sahiwal Campus

The examination for admission to medical and dental colleges has been conducted peacefully at the center established in DPS and COMSATS University Sahiwal campus.

Candidates and parents paid tribute to Commissioner Sahiwal Shoaib Iqbal Syed, Deputy Commissioner Saima Ali and DPO Faisal Shahzad for the wonderful arrangements.

The MDCAT test was organized on Sunday under the auspices of University of Health Sciences, for which 2364 female students and 1042 male students participated at the center established in Divisional Public School & College and COMSATS University Sahiwal Campus.

Commissioner Shoaib Iqbal Syed, Deputy Commissioner Saima Ali and DPO Faisal Shehzad along with administrative and security teams were present at the center since morning.

The officers reviewed all the arrangements before the examination began. Helpline centers were set up to guide the candidates where staff provided information.

Free transport was also arranged to take the candidates to the examination centers under the direction of Deputy Commissioner Saima Ali.

The exam started at 10 AM and ended at 1.30 PM. Foolproof security arrangements were made at the centre, with a heavy presence of elite force and women police.

Under the supervision of District Traffic Officer Saeed Ahmed Lodhi, the traffic police staff was busy ensuring the flow of traffic in and out of the centre.

Excellent parking arrangements were made. Similarly, the best seating arrangements were made for the parents. At the end of the examination, the students were sent home peacefully from the examination center.

Candidates and parents thanked the administration for the excellent arrangements and ensuring the conduct of the examination in a peaceful atmosphere.

Both the administrative officers have expressed their best wishes to the candidates participating in the examination. Section 144 remained in force around both the examination centres.
