In a message on social media platform X, Mohammad Amir sharply replied to critics, urging them to focus on players’ performance rather than their personalities.

The fast bowler stated in his message that if Babar was not in the team, the team still won.

Mohammad Amir said that we played with a better strategy and took advantage of the home ground, so we won.

He also requested that you criticize their performance but refrain from attacking their personalities.

Babar Azam, Naseem Shah, and Shaheen Afridi were not included in the squad for the second Test match between Pakistan and England.

In the first test played in Multan, Pakistan was defeated by 1 innings and 47 runs against England, but in the second match, Pakistan won by 152 runs and tied the series of 3 test matches at 1-1.

Mohammad Amir is a Pakistani cricketer who is playing for the Pakistan national cricket team. He is a left-arm fast bowler and a left handed batsman.

He retired from international cricket in 2020 aged 28 but on 24 March 2024 he took his retirement back and made himself available for the Pakistan cricket team.
