Groom’s friends allegedly gang-rape newly-wed bride in Chichawatni
All three friends kept raping the bride until she lost her consciousness.

In a tragic incident in Chichawatni, the groom’s friends gang-raped his bride and left her unconscious before fleeing.
According to details, Muhammad Iqbal, a resident of Block No. 2, Jungle Colony Chichawatni, married Aqiqa Bibi of his choice on December 7 without the consent of his family.
Iqbal’s friends Muhammad Shafiq and Nadeem gave him accommodation in Chak 6/14L. Later, the two friends took Iqbal to their Dera and, pretending that the girl’s heirs had arrived, locked him in a room.
After locking Iqbal in the Dera, the two friends went home with another friend, Manzoor Hussain, where the three of them raped Iqbal’s bride in turn. The accused fled after leaving the girl unconscious.
Kassowal police station has registered a case, arrested the accused and started an investigation.
