The Pakistani Shaheens reached the semi-finals of the ACCT20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup after defeating the UAE in a one-sided match.

Captain Mohammad Haris scored 71 runs and Haider Ali remained unbeaten with 32 runs. Yasir Khan scored 25 runs, Qasim Akram scored 23 runs and Umair Yusuf scored 21 runs.
Chasing a target of 180 runs, the UAE team was bowled out for 65 runs in the 17th over. Emirati team captain Rahul Chopra scored 20 runs.
Shahnawaz Dahani of Shaheens took 5 wickets for 12 runs and played a key role in this important win for the team.
Apart from them, Sufiyan Muqeem took two wickets, Ahmed Daniyal, Abbas Afridi, Arafat Minhas took one wicket each.

The ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 showcases the rising talent in cricket from various Asian countries.
This edition features eight teams competing in a round-robin format within two groups, followed by knockout rounds.
The tournament began on October 18 and will conclude with the final on October 27, hosted at Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Oman.
