NA-142 Sahiwal: Rana Tariq Javed withdrawn in favor of PTI candidate

Rana Tariq Javed withdrew in favor of Chaudhry Usman Ali, the nephew of Chaudhry Asif Ali, the PTI-backed candidate in Constituency NA-142.

Former MNA Rana Tariq Javed withdrew in favor of PTI supported candidate Chaudhry Usman Ali in NA-142 Sahiwal.

According to the details, former MNA Rana Tariq Javed, like other candidates from PTI’s platform, had submitted his nomination papers from NA-142 constituency of Sahiwal in the general election to be held on February 8, 2024.

In case of failure to get PTI ticket, he not only announced to contest election on the symbol of dhol but also started election campaign.

However, Rana Tariq Javed withdrew in favor of Chaudhry Usman Ali, the nephew of Chaudhry Asif Ali, the PTI-backed candidate in Constituency NA-142.

It was to protect the PTI nominated candidate from the possible loss of votes due to the country’s situation. He said that being a close associate of Parvez Elahi, it is my duty to not only step down in favor of the candidate nominated by my leader, but also to campaign for his election with all my heart.

Therefore, I give this message to all my voters and supporters that all my friends, brothers and my mothers and sisters should make PTI’s nominated candidate Chaudhry Usman Ali successful by stamping the election symbol (Mor).

The resignation was announced by Rana Tariq Javed in his Dera Farid Town. On this occasion, along with PTI’s nominated candidates from Constituency NA-141, Rana Aamir Shehzad and Chaudhry Asif Ali, a large number of PTI voters from across the constituency were also present.

On this occasion, Chaudhry Asif Ali thanked Rana Tariq Javed and said that this war is not for Khan alone, we all should fight this war together.

Rana Tariq Javed not only resigned but also proved to be the true soldier of Khan. Chaudhry Asif Ali further said that with the support of Rana Tariq Javed, who has been elected MNA before this constituency, the position of Chaudhry Usman Ali has not only been stabilized but victory has been assured.
