Election 2024: Scrutiny of nomination papers starts today

Scrutiny of nomination papers for general elections 2024 in Pakistan has been started today.
According to reports, the days for the scrutiny of papers have been reduced from seven to five, with the scrutiny till December 30.
Appeals against acceptance or rejection of nomination papers can be made till January 3, the Election Tribunal will decide on these appeals by January 10, 2024.
Candidates will be able to withdraw their nomination papers till January 12, 2024. Candidates will be given election symbols on January 13, 2024.
