The Indian singer Sonu Nigam apologized while admitting to copying the song.

Indian playback singer and music director Sonu Nigam has apologized for stealing the song of Pakistani singer Omer Nadeem.

Pakistani singer Omer Nadeem has shared a post on the photo and video sharing platform Instagram and said that he has humbly accepted Sonu Nigam’s apology. He has shared a few screenshots of Sonu Nigham’s comments.

According to the screenshots, the Indian singer Sonu Nigam apologized while admitting to copying the song, but also said that he had not heard the said song before and if he had, he would never have recorded the song for the T-series.

The Indian singer Sono Nigam also revealed that he had recorded the song under the T-Series banner at the request of film critic KRK, who is his neighbor in Dubai.

Sonu Nigam praised the Pakistani singer’s song, calling the original song better than the copied song.

It should be noted that Umar Nadeem shared video clips of Sonu Nigam’s new song ‘Sun Zara’ released by T-Series and his 2009 song ‘Ae Khuda’ on the photo and video sharing app Instagram.

Sharing these video clips, he wrote in the caption that he reached a point in his life where he didn’t care about such things.

Omer Nadeem wrote that if you are going to copy a song, at least give credit to the original song and if you are going to do it, at least do it with some sophistication.

On this post of the singer, social media users are also seen criticizing the T-series. Actress Armina Khan is also among those who criticized T-series for stealing songs.

It should be noted that this is not the first time that an Indian music company has copied a Pakistani song, but earlier singer Nafees has also criticized T-Series for copying his song.
