Traffic Police Chichawatni Tortures a Truck Driver
Due to the violence of the traffic police officials, the truck driver became unconscious.
Chichawatni (Sahiwal Updates – 19 August 2023) An incident of alleged violence against a truck driver has come to light on Chichawatni Burewala road near the overhead bridge.
Due to the violence of the traffic police officials, the truck driver became unconscious. Another colleague of the truck driver parked the truck in the middle of the road and blocked the Chichawatni Burewala Road.
Traffic on both sides of the road was suspended due to the road block. Due to the traffic jam, long queues of vehicles were formed. As the rush of people increased, the traffic officials were disappeared.
As soon as the incident was reported, the local police reached the spot and restored the traffic while the truck driver was shifted to the emergency ward of THQ Hospital Chichawatni. The truck drivers claim that the traffic police officials were allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 8,000 per driver.
