Hunar Rozgar Mela inaugurated at Vocational Training Institute Sahiwal

Commissioner Sahiwal Division Shoaib Iqbal Syed has said that our educational institutions should be in close contact with the industrialists to prepare trained manpower as per the requirements of the industry.

He expressed these views while addressing the opening ceremony of Hunar Rozgar Mela on behalf of Punjab Vocational Training Council at Vocational Training Institute Sahiwal.
Additional Commissioner Coordination Shafiq Ahmad Dogar, Director Board of Management VTIs Sahiwal President Amjad Zafar, Area Manager Ghulam Ahmed Joya, Principal Naveed Ahmed, board members and a large number of students and employers participated in the event.
Commissioner Shoaib Iqbal Syed said that equal opportunities should be provided to women in technical education so that they can play an important role in the development of the country and the nation along with men.
He said that the economic development of the country depends on the availability of trained manpower in which the role of vocational training institutes is very important.
Congratulating the students who got training from the institution and achieved success, he said that your success is the success of the entire Sahiwal division.
On this occasion, he also inspected the stalls set up by the students.
