The latest update includes this enhancement, which is gradually rolling out to users worldwide.
According to WABetaInfo, the updated interface is currently available to select beta testers through the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.25.8, which can be downloaded via the Google Play Store.
The revamped design offers a cleaner, more intuitive layout. Key updates include:
Enhanced Filters: At the top of the screen, users can conveniently access prominently displayed filters, including “Favorites” and “Various Conversations,” along with a shortcut for creating new filters.
Custom List Creation: A redesigned button below the main filters allows users to easily create custom chat lists, blending seamlessly with the app’s modern design.
Effortless Restoration: Buttons next to deleted filters now enable users to restore them quickly.
The entire chat management interface aligns with the app’s updated aesthetic, mirroring the design found in settings like “Security” and “Mail.”
The update, though currently in beta testing, is already accessible to some users on stable versions.
WhatsApp plans to roll out this streamlined interface to a broader audience in the coming days.
Keep an eye out for this update to experience a more organized and efficient way to manage your chats.
