Sahiwal Teaching Hospital organizes awareness seminar on World Heart Day
The aim of the walk was to educate the citizens about prevention of heart diseases and treatment.
Sahiwal Teaching Hospital organized an awareness seminar and walk on the occasion of World Heart Day 29 september 2024.
Principal Medical College Professor Dr. Imran Hasan Khan, MS Teaching Hospital Dr. Nisar Ahmad Saeedi and renowned cardiologists Dr. Saima Naz, Dr. Hasif Raza including HODs of various departments, paramedical staff and a large number of citizens participated in the walk.
The aim of the walk was to educate the citizens about prevention of heart diseases and treatment, preventive measures and careful lifestyle for heart patients.
Principal Medical College Prof. Imran Hasan Khan, HOD Cardiology Dr. Najam Saqib and Cardiologist Dr. Hasif Raza informed the walk participants about the importance of heart in human body, prevention of diseases and healthy lifestyle.
He said that light exercise, simple lifestyle, sleep on time, sugar and weight control are important for patients with heart diseases.
At the same time, it should be remembered that prevention is better than cure. The awareness walk started from the cardiology block and ended at the outer gate.
