‘Zaroori tha’ song viewed 1.6 billion times on YouTube
Zaroori Tha song was launched in Dubai by renowned director Mahesh Bhatt.
It’s been 10 years since the release of Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s super hit song ‘Zaroori Tha’. The song broke all the popularity records and has been viewed over 1.6 billion times on YouTube alone.
Produced by international music producer Salman Ahmed, Zaroori tha song was composed by Sahir Ali Bagga, this song was released worldwide in 2014.
According to the detail, Bollywood superstar Anil Kapoor launched the album of this song at the IIFA Awards (International Indian Film Academy Awards) in the presence of Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha and other superstars. Zaroori Tha song was launched in Dubai by renowned director Mahesh Bhatt.
Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, music producer Salman Ahmed and Sahir Ali Bagga are overjoyed at the completion of 10 years of the song ‘Zaroori Tha’. Salman Ahmed cut the cake with fanfare in Dubai to mark 10 years of his produced song.
Speaking on the occasion, Salman Ahmed said:
“We released this song at a time when musical albums stopped coming. The song’s popularity has grown tremendously every year and today it has more than 1.6 billion views on YouTube.”
This is the only song that was first released privately and later included in the film.
