Pakistan Airstrike in Paktika: 71 Terrorists Killed, 4 Centers Destroyed
ISPR says that the Taliban have failed to keep their promises, just as they violated the Doha agreement.

Islamabad (ISPR Press Release)
Pakistan conducted an airstrike in Afghanistan’s Paktika province, accurately targeting terrorist hideouts, resulting in the deaths of over 71 terrorists, including key commanders, and the destruction of four major centers, including a suicide vest factory.
Pakistani security sources state that the local population around the terrorist sites remained completely safe, and the Afghan Taliban will need to fulfill their promises for better relations.
Additionally, Afghanistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Pakistan’s ambassador in Kabul and handed over a protest note.
According to the details, Pakistani security sources confirmed that Pakistan once again demonstrated its strong commitment to fighting terrorism with precise airstrikes on terrorist centers in Paktika province.
A senior security official said, “This is not the first time Pakistan has conducted cross-border operations. In the past, Pakistan had carried out drone strikes in Afghanistan, causing significant damage to terrorists.” The Afghan Taliban had assured that no attacks would be launched from Afghan soil against Pakistan.
Unfortunately, the Taliban have failed to keep their promises, just as they violated the Doha agreement.
The official further stated, “If the Afghan Taliban wish to maintain better relations with Pakistan and China, they must fulfill their promises and take action against terrorists. Pakistan will continue to target these terrorists’ hideouts until the menace is completely eradicated.”
Videos and audios that surfaced after the attacks show the terrorists in a state of panic, advising each other to flee and complaining that the local population is not assisting them.
Security sources said, “This operation sends a clear message to Pakistan’s enemies. Although we have avenged our martyrs, the war is not over. We will pursue the terrorists to their last hideout, wherever they may be hiding.”
Security sources further informed this correspondent that Afghan and Indian media accounts were using images of children who died in the 2023 earthquake in Afghanistan to falsely portray the casualties from Pakistan’s precise actions.
These accounts are spreading false stories to hide their embarrassment and defeat and to influence public opinion.
They added that such propaganda campaigns against the Pakistani army have never been successful in the past and will not be successful in the future.
In fact, the destruction of these Indian assets has caused disproportionate damage to India, forcing them, as always, to launch misinformation campaigns.
These centers were not only safe havens for the terrorists but also key to their management and operations.
Meanwhile, French news agency AFP reported that Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid confirmed that Pakistan bombed four areas in the Barmal district of Paktika.
He stated that the total number of casualties was 46. The Taliban Ministry of Defense condemned the attacks, asserting that they would respond vigorously, considering the defense of their land and sovereignty an inalienable right.
