The heirs returned to THQ Hospital Borewala for the post-mortem, but the post-mortem was delayed due to non-availability of doctors there. On which the heirs got angry and started a protest by keeping the body of the deceased at 259 EB Lahore Road.

Long queues of vehicles formed when the road was closed. DSP Umar Farooq reached the spot along with the police and according to the tradition negotiated with the protestors and promised to give the result to the heirs within 72 hours, on which the protestors dispersed.
