Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi officially inaugurated the e-registration system of Land Record from Sahiwal and reviewed the process of obtaining documents.
Under e-registration, all land record documents will be available online and tax evasion will be prevented. This will save citizens from frequent rounding of land record centres.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has ordered the immediate completion of the pending bridge of N5 and said that the government will provide necessary funds for the early construction of the pending bridge.
He announced the construction of Pakpattan to Sahiwal Double Road and directed to complete the Old GT Road soon. He said that the restoration work of construction and repair of the structures of Sahiwal should be completed soon.
He further said that the District Headquarters Hospital Sahiwal will be provided resources for the upgradation. He ordered the adoption of zero tolerance policy on crop residue burning to control smog.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi presided over a high-level meeting in Sahiwal
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi presided over a high-level meeting related to development projects and public order at Deputy Commissioner’s Office Sahiwal. He reviewed the progress on ongoing development projects in Sahiwal Division under the Punjab Intermediate Cities Improvement Investment Programme.
In the meeting, progress on the ongoing program with the support of Asian Development Bank was reviewed.
Digitization of Land Plus Project
A meeting was held in Sahiwal under the chairmanship of Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi regarding digitization of land plus project.
The progress on the ongoing program with the support of the World Bank was reviewed. Commissioner Sahiwal gave a briefing about public welfare projects, RPO Sahiwal informed about the measures taken for law and order situation.
The Chief Minister ordered a major crackdown against criminal elements and gangs. Police will be provided with all possible resources to control crime.
Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, Inspector General of Police Dr. Usman, Deputy Commissioners and DPOs of Sahiwal, Okara, Pakpattan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue, Additional Deputy Commissioner Coordination and related officials were also present on the occasion.
