Dera Ismail Khan: Terrorist attack on Pakistan Army killing 23 soldiers

Terrorists attack on the post of security forces in Daraban area of Dera Ismail Khan and 23 soldiers are martyred.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), earlier last night, 17 terrorists were killed in an operation in Daraban.

Terrorist activities were seen in DI Khan between 11th and 12th December. An intelligence-based operation was conducted in the Daraban area.

The Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army has informed that during the operation in the area of Daraban, the hideout of the terrorists has been destroyed.

According to ISPR, in the operation based on secret information in Kalachi, the hideout of the terrorists was found and during the operation in Kalachi, 4 terrorists were killed while 2 brave jawans were martyred in the fierce exchange of fire.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army, the attempt of terrorists to enter the security forces post in Daraban was effectively foiled, after which the terrorists rammed a vehicle full of explosives into the post.

According to ISPR, the slain terrorists were involved in several acts of terrorism against the security forces and the slain terrorists were also active in the killing of innocent civilians, arms, ammunition and explosives have also been recovered during the operations.

The Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army says that clearance operations are being conducted to eliminate the terrorists in the area, Pakistan’s security forces are determined to eradicate terrorism from the country.
