ECP says PTI is responsible of stopping Election process
ECP has said that it has completed all arrangements for holding the elections on February 8.
The Election Commission of Pakistan has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf is the responsible of stopping the election process as it challenged the appointment of ROs and DROs.
ECP has said that it has completed all arrangements for holding the elections on February 8. Returning Officers (ROs) were appointed.
The announcement said that the training of DROs and ROs had also started across the country. Training is necessary before the election schedule so that they can issue and receive nomination papers as soon as the schedule is announced.
The Election Commission further said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf challenged the appointment of DROs and ROs. ECP is considering the situation after the suspension of the appointment of DROs and ROs, and will decide the future course of action soon.
The spokesperson of the Election Commission says that the Election Commission cannot be held responsible for the current situation.
The Election Commission is following a comprehensive plan regarding the conduct of transparent elections, all the targets regarding the conduct of the elections are being completed on time.
