Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah passed away at 86 and Sheikh Meshaal is named as successor.
According to Kuwaiti media, 86-year-old Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah was admitted to the hospital in November.
The condition of Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, was not explained.
According to Aljazeera reports, Quranic verses were aired on Kuwait’s official TV.
