Tajikistan beats Pakistan by six goals to one in a crucial match in Group G match of FIFA World Cup Qualifier Round Two Asia.
In the first half of the match between 193rd-ranked Pakistan and 109-ranked Tajikistan at the Jinnah Stadium in Islamabad, Tajikistan played a brilliant game.
Tajikistan scored the first goal in the 9th minute when Komolov headed the ball into the net before 5 minutes later Surov’s goal doubled the lead.
Pakistan reduced Tajikistan’s deficit in the 21st minute when Rais Nabi’s beautiful goal made the score 1-2.
At this point, it was expected to be a thorny contest from both the teams as Tajikistan used their experience to dodge the Pakistani defense and scored two more goals in the first half to make the score 1-4.
In the second half, the national team played a relatively aggressive game and tried to attack the Tajik goal, but failed to break through the Tajik defense line and score a goal.
Pakistan team showed relatively better defense in the second half where Tajikistan players managed to score only one goal till the 45th minute of the second half. Komolov scored this goal in the 66th minute of the match.
The national team once again showed a weak game in the extra time like the match against Saudi Arabia, taking advantage of which Samiyev showed the ball to the net to make the score 1-6 which remained until the final whistle.
