According to the details, anti-corruption Okara has registered a case against PTI’s second-time ticket holder Maher Muhammad Javed. Anti-corruption raided the residence of Maher Muhammad Javed to arrest him but he was not present at home.

It should be noted that Maher Muhammad Javed had participated in the 2018 election on a PTI ticket, but he lost the election. A few months ago, he got the ticket for the second time for the Punjab Assembly election.

In the anti-corruption case, he is accused of depositing his commercial market fees in Renala Khurd under off-road valuation instead of on-road valuation, causing huge loss to the national exchequer.

It should be noted that before the election 2024, various institutions are facing pressure from powerful circles and have been given the task of arresting important personalities so that the atmosphere of the election can be smoothed for a political party.
