Pakistan Stock Exchange: 100 index crossed 66 thousand milestone

Pakistan Stock Exchange has crossed another milestone, with its 100 index crossing the level of 66 thousand points today.
Pakistan Stock Exchange saw a sharp boom during the business. Today, the 100 index rose by 1505 points to reach 66 thousand 223 points.
Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar rang the bell at the stock exchange and started trading today.
Addressing the Ijara Sukuk issuance ceremony, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar said that the standby agreement with the IMF has brought confidence to investors.
He said that due to economic improvement, the stock market has increased by 40% since September.
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar also said that the value of the dollar was 307 rupees in September, which is around 284 rupees today.
