Prime Minister says Pakistan Stock Market increased 40%
Due to economic improvement, the stock market has increased by 40% since September.
Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar has said that the stock exchange has an important role in the country’s economy. Due to economic improvement, the stock market has increased by 40% since September.
Addressing the ceremony at the Pakistan Stock Exchange in Karachi, Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan Anwarul Haq Kakar has said that it is an honor to participate in the ceremony of issuing Ijara Sukuk.
Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar further said that the sound of the gong (stock exchange bell) has not only sounded here in the capital corridors of Pakistan, we are determined that the nation should benefit from the fruits of economic improvement.
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar said that the country’s economy faced many challenges this year, the standby agreement with the IMF brought confidence to investors.
He said that due to the improvement of the economy, the stock exchange has a bullish trend. Pakistan stock market has increased by 40% since September and the price of the dollar was 307 rupees in September, which is around 284 today.
