PML-N and IPP settle the matter of Seat Adjustment
IPP is likely to be given 7 seats in the national assembly and 11 seats in the provincial assembly.
The matter of seat adjustment between Pakistan Muslim League (N) and the Istehkam e Pakistan Party (IPP) has been settled.
According to the sources, IPP is likely to be given 7 seats in the national assembly and 11 seats in the provincial assembly. The IPP demanded 13 seats in the National Assembly and 22 seats in the Provincial Assembly.
Jahangir Tareen will be adjusted from NA 149 Multan instead of Lodhran.
Aleem Khan will be accommodated in NA 117 and Aun Chaudhry in NA 128 Lahore.
Malik Nauman Langriyal will be accommodated in Sahiwal, engineer Gul Asghar in Khushab, Aamir Kayani in Islamabad and Ghulam Sarwar Khan in Rawalpindi.
On the other hand, IPP’s Firdous Ashiq Awan, Humayun Akhtar and Rana Nazir will not be adjusted.
Farrukh Habib from Faisalabad and Noraiz Shakur from Sahiwal will also not be accommodated.
