Sahiwal Police has seized a large consignment of weapons near Harappa toll plaza while checking the blockade.
According to the details, Harappa police station recovered a consignment of weapons from the Harappa toll plaza while checking the blockade.
SHO Police Station Harappa Sub-Inspector Zaid Anjum along with his team arrested the arms smuggler Muhammad Haseeb and Muhammad Mudassar of Rahim Yar Khan while smuggling arms.
From the possession of the accused, 9 rifles including 7 rifles of 12 bore and 2 rifles triple two with 18 magazines, 44 pistols including 26 pistols of 30 bore and 18 pistols of 9mm with 88 magazines, 9 thousand one hundred bullets recovered.
While the vehicle used for the delivery of weapons has also been seized by the police. The accused were taking these weapons for sale to different places in Sahiwal city, which were to be used in various crimes.
According to the spokesman of Sahiwal police, big revelations are expected from the two arrested accused, and further investigation is going on.
