PMLN and IPP meet again for Seat Adjustment in General Elections 

IPP has demanded at least one National Assembly seat in all 8 divisions.

PMLN and IPP has met again for Seat Adjustment in General Elections 2024.

The matter of seat adjustment between PML-N and Istehkam e Pakistan Party in the upcoming general elections is going to resolve tomorrow.

Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and Istehkam e Pakistan Party has held talks again. The IPP has reduced its demands for seat adjustment, is now showing flexibility.

IPP has introduced a new formula for seat adjustment and demanded at least one National Assembly seat in all 8 divisions.

It should be noted that Istehkam e Pakistan Party had demanded seat adjustment in more than 20 National Assembly and 40 Provincial Assembly seats previously.

Now, IPP leaders demand that PML-N should make mandatory seat adjustment in at least one seat of National Assembly in each division of Punjab province.

“If PML-N accepts our demand, IPP will immediately provide the names of its potential candidates in all divisions.” IPP leaders said.

The negotiation team of the Muslim League-N has promised to consider the fresh demand of the IPP. Earlier, PML-N was willing to adjust 4 to 5 National Assembly seats with IPP.

The Muslim League agreed to seat adjustments for IPP central leaders Jahangir Tareen, Aleem Khan, Ishaq Khakwani and Nauman Langriyal etc.

The leadership of Muslim League-N will deliberate today on the demand for at least one seat in the National Assembly from each division.

The party leadership directed the provincial president Rana Sanaullah to submit his report on the demand of IPP.
