Abrar Ahmed supported with 4-27 as West Indies were dismissed for 123 in their chase of a 251-run target.
The West Indies’ second innings saw all ten wickets fall to Pakistan’s spin attack, with Noman Ali contributing 1-42.
Alick Athanaze top-scored for the visitors with 55, the only half-century of the match.
His stand of 41 with Tevin Imlach was the highlight for the tourists, but Sajid dismissed Athanaze, and Abrar claimed the final wicket of Jomel Warrican.
Earlier, Warrican had been impressive with career-best figures of 7-32 as Pakistan were bowled out for 157 in their second innings.
His match haul of 10-101 was the best by a West Indian bowler in Pakistan, surpassing Malcolm Marshall’s 5-33 from 1986.
The match, which was delayed on the first day due to poor visibility, was completed in less than eight sessions.
Sajid’s four crucial wickets, including the top-order West Indian batsmen, set the tone for the win.
Noman’s timely LBW of Justin Greaves further crumbled the West Indies’ resistance at 54-5.
Pakistan resumed the day on 109-3 but could only add 48 runs. Warrican’s persistence accounted for key wickets, including Saud Shakeel, Mohammad Rizwan, Kamran Ghulam, Noman, and Sajid.
The second Test of the series will begin on January 25 in Multan.
